The Produce Marketing Association plans to launch a Spanish-language version of its training program for retail produce markets at Expo ANTAD in Guadalajara March 10-12.
The Newark, Del.-based association is also exhibiting at the event and its vice president of global business development, Nancy Tucker, is set to speak during a seminar on the effect of economic changes on the produce industry in North America March 11.
The E-ssentials program PMA is rolling out in a Spanish-language format includes retail produce training courses on customer service, merchandising and food safety, among other topics. Each of the program’s five versions will be available in Spanish, according to a PMA news release, including online with Learning Management System, online without Learning Management System, as a workbook, as a CD and as onsite training.
